NYC areaShort answer
We cover Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, and outside the city, Westchester County, Yonkers and Nassau County. Crews are dispatched from our Manhattan service office on West 100th Street, and every call gets an arrival window based on where crews are at that moment.
Where we are based
Manhattan, where our crews start
Manhattan is where our service office sits, on West 100th Street, and it is where the work is most varied: prewar co-ops on the Upper West and Upper East Sides, brownstones in Harlem and the Village, walk-ups downtown and glass towers in Midtown. The typical job is a leak that crosses floors, and the typical complication is a building with a board, a managing agent and several insurers.
About 27 percent of Manhattan lots are regulated by the Landmarks Preservation Commission, so facades, cornices and original windows matter when we board up or rebuild. See our Manhattan page for the neighborhoods, building types and storm history in detail.

How the work changes
How the work changes from one area to the next
Brooklyn and Queens. Most of our work outside Manhattan is here: rowhouses and apartment buildings where leaks travel between floors, and houses with basements that take water in heavy rain or a storm surge. Sewer backups are common in both boroughs during big storms.
The Bronx, Yonkers and Westchester County. Going north, the buildings change from prewar apartment blocks to hillside houses, village downtowns and the cities of New Rochelle, Mount Vernon and White Plains. Smoke in shared hallways, riser leaks and mold dominate in the Bronx and Yonkers; flooded basements and shops dominate across Westchester.
Staten Island and Nassau County. These are the areas where storm flooding matters most, with salt water on the shore blocks and basements across the rest. Storm claims there almost always need separate records for wind damage and flood damage.
Where coverage stops. This site covers the work run from our Manhattan service office: the five boroughs, Westchester County, Yonkers and Nassau County. If you are just outside those areas, call anyway, and if the job is beyond our reach we will tell you straight away so you can call someone closer rather than wait.
